Sales Planning and Analytics Analyst – ADUSA

As the Sales Planning and Analytics Analyst, you will serve as a key member of a top Grocery sales team and support strategic growth plans for KDP products while adding value to KDP’s overall customer relationship. This role will contribute to volume, profit, and share growth by supporting plans to drive distribution and availability of KDP brands, and by developing and executing promotional and display plans at retail across the KDP Portfolio. The Sales Analyst will be responsible for providing accurate analysis relative to share/trends, revenue, volume forecasting and assisting with inputs into KDP’s and our customer’s planning systems.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years or more years of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales or marketing analysis and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Accounting, Mathematics or similar analytical degree. Must possess a high level of attention to detail, strong deductive reasoning, statistical analysis, and communication skills. Ability to effectively mine and summarize data for interpretation. Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) including ability to utilize pivot tables, V-lookups, filters, and summarize data graphically. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision under tight deadlines. Ability to interact comfortably at all levels of the organization.

This role will be located REMOTE, and will require business travel as needed to and from corporate meetings and business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate analysis relative to share/trends, revenue, volume forecasting and build monthly reports to track team performance vs. AOP.
  • Utilize internal, syndicated and point of sale (POS) data to identify opportunities and assist National Account Executives in adjusting plans to meet and exceed annual goals and objectives
  • Track and analyze key promotional plans and prepare power point reviews to share findings with sales team and key cross functional partners.
  • Review and track Digital Shelf progress across ADUSA divisions to ensure new item set up execution and understand competitive activity.
  • Support NAEs in monthly trade management and forecasting process and become efficient in KDPs internal systems and processes (POP, Vistex, MYDAY, SMART forms, Day 2 Reports, Margin Minder)
  • Assist NAEs with information flow into customer’s systems; Demand Tech to load contracts, as well as accompanying supplement forms; STEP for loading innovation accompanied by attribute forms (Bottler wiring and pricing).
  • Partner cross functionally to ensure the ADUSA KPIs are on track and reported accurately (Forecast Accuracy, OPAs, Trade Rate management)
  • Solve pricing issues and correcting scans in customer’s system as well as assisting NAEs in 1st half/2nd half account planning (EPT- Event Planning Templates).
  • Publish and update the Grocery Feature ad calendar with all deals weekly, at minimum 4 weeks out.
  • Assist NAEs in constructing power point decks for key customer meetings as well as internal leadership meetings. On occasion, attend monthly customer meetings, typically virtual.
  • Prepare and cascade accurate communications relative to marketing programs, funding, new item introductions/alignment, promotions to the appropriate parties.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of CPG sales support or marketing analysis experience and Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience using IRI, Nielsen Scantrack, or other syndicated data
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) including ability to utilize pivot tables, V-lookups, filters, and summarize data graphically.

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to build stakeholder trust in your approach.
